Small Chihuahuas usually come to the spotlight for horrendous stories of maltreatment, neglect, or other sad instances. But today’s protagonist, Roberto, the four-pound cutie, isn’t going to stand up for that.
San Diego KUSI reported that the nine-week-old Chihuahua is shaking in excitement to meet his new family. Even though he weighs only four pounds, Roberto is expected to grow up to 16-20. And, all thanks to his new parents.
Thankfully, the center has already male-neutered Roberto. He also has up-to-date vaccinations and microchip identifications.
The lovely people who adopted this sweet pup told KUSI that he’s a born snuggler. Even though he loves showering everyone with love, Jessica Gercke from the Helen Woodward Animal Center warned the adoptive family to ensure independence for the puppy. She says that new dog owners usually tend to go overboard with affection for their furry friends, which causes them to become co-dependent in the long run.
All in all, the family is most definitely going to love Roberto for a really long time. If you’re in the Cali area and want to provide the same happiness for a pup in your area, we urge you to check out the Santa Fe animal center.
